If you are looking for a GORGEOUS downtown Orlando wedding venue that can be transformed to your vision, look no further than The Balcony Orlando. I had the honor of touring this great space yesterday and meeting with Brianna Mulford, their Sales Coordinator. When I tell you that this venue is a photographer’s playground, I’m not kidding.
One of the things I loved most about The Balcony Orlando is the versatility of the space. Whether you are having a grand 250+ person event or an intimate micro-wedding, this wedding venue can fit your needs. The balcony space itself is 10,000 square feet of beautiful. You can choose the backdrop you’d like for your ceremony, from glass windows that reflect light beautifully, to Orlando’s main feature of Lake Eola, and even the Orlando city skyline. The market lights will give off the perfect vibe for your cocktail hour or a private moment with your new spouse.
The 6,000 square feet of indoor gallery can be used for both your ceremony and reception! In the corner of the gallery, you will find unique halo lights on the ceiling. This is the perfect location for your sweetheart table. It also makes a wonderful ceremony spot for intimate ceremonies and a backup for rain! The entire gallery is made of large glass windows that bring so much natural light and gorgeous sunsets. With an arrangement of tables and decor, you can transform the space to match your guest count.
Another thing I loved about The Balcony Orlando is the vast amount of places for photographs!! The wedding venue is situated in the heart of Downtown Orlando on Orange Ave and Church Street. From the balcony, you can see Camping World Stadium and the Amway Arena, The Orlando Eye, Lake Eola, and what the staff calls “Orlando’s Central Park.” Everywhere you look is a new background for photos. There is even a private balcony for couple’s portraits!
Although there is no getting ready area for the couple and their party, the Grand Bohemian Hotel is within walking distance and the walk makes for some fun photos in the downtown area! Couples can utilize the streets, gardens, fountains, and more for their first look and wedding party photos as they head to the venue.
Also, a fun bonus! The sun sets right behind the market lights and through the buildings at The Balcony Orlando. On a clear night, you are guaranteed some beautiful sunsets for your wedding!!
Friends, I only met two of the staff members at The Balcony Orlando (Brianna and Brooke), but let me tell you: These ladies are SO sweet and knowledgeable. They really take the time to get to know you and make sure you have everything you need. You can tell they really love working at the wedding venue and care deeply for their couples.
Due to COVID-19, very few in the wedding industry are able to work and create the magical weddings we all adore. Micro-weddings and elopements are bigger than ever right now. But, these can be just as magical if you have the right team behind you. Just look at Jack and I with our wedding in 3 weeks (more on this to come soon)!
If you are looking for a venue with a gorgeous and versatile ground plan, plus an amazing staff to help you with all your needs for the day, I couldn’t recommend The Balcony Orlando more. They are taking all precautions to make sure your wedding is as safe as possible. Plus, there is SO much space to keep your wedding socially distant!! If you are planning your wedding in 2020, check out The Balcony Orlando and don’t let the size scare you. Brianna and Brooke will help you create the wedding of your dreams!!
