Oh, where do we even begin with these two? Finally tying the knot with their East End Market wedding day, Jack and I couldn’t be more excited for this amazing couple!! After meeting Sabrina for the first time in my dad’s office many years ago, I knew she was an amazing woman and deserved nothing but happiness. She found that happiness with Dan and the rest is history!
May 25 is a day I will always remember, and this wonderful couple now always will too! For me, it’s my birthday! Sabrina and Dan asked if I was available that day to photograph their wedding in November. There was no way I could say no. These two are the absolute kindest and loving individuals, and I was honored to be asked to be a part of their most treasured day. Come to find out, it was also the day Sabrina’s parents were married in 1980! From the minute we walked into their home to photograph the getting ready process, we knew this day would be a love-fest. Sabrina’s sister, Melonie, greeted us immediately and was so willing to help in any way she could! Everyone the couple associated with were such genuine individuals.
Two moments during their East End Market wedding day particularly stuck out to me. The first was Sabrina and Dan’s first look. As all of my clients know, Jack and I LOVE a first look. It is an intimate way to first see your loved one and have time with just the two of you before the craziness of the wedding day ensues. Sabrina approached Dan in her gorgeous blush wedding dress and tapped him on the shoulder. He turned around and literally said “Oh my god. Wow. You look amazing.” Dan was so in awe of his bride to be and couldn’t stop admiring Sabrina. It made my wee heart melt!!
The other moment that actually filled my eyes with tears was during the toasts at the reception at East End Market. Melonie and her mom shared how Sabrina was known to be a no nonsense kind of gal. No hand holding, no affection, nada. Dan changed everything. That’s how they knew he was perfect. He made Sabrina feel something and was her protector from the bad. Sabrina was in great hands and her family welcomed Dan with open arms. The best man, spoke about how the worst kickball team in the world brought the two greatest people together. Sabrina was the competitive redhead that Dan needed in his life. He couldn’t be happier for the couple to start their lives together.
Sabrina and Dan, thank you. We love you and your Disney-crazed selves. The best relationships are built on trust. That’s exactly what you did with every step of this process, from our first session before you even got engaged all the way to the end of your East End Market wedding day. You knew the day could be stressful with so many moving parts, but you trusted. You trusted us to capture how you truly feel about each other and the most special day with your family and friends. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your wedding day and loving us as your own family!
Without further ado, enjoy this not-so-little sneak peek! So much more is coming your way soon! If you haven’t seen their mural engagement session, click here first!!
