The day has finally arrived! Jenna and Austin have tied the knot with an intimate summer wedding. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, this wedding was a day no one would ever forget.
I have known Jenna for over 8 years and seeing her marry the love of her life was truly special. From our first two hour conversation at Starbucks last August, it was clear that Austin was the perfect fit for her. God came first in their lives and family was a close second. They moved their wedding up seven months because they just couldn’t wait anymore. Most of their friends and family were going to be in town for their daughter, Jasmine, as she was performing in her dance recital this weekend. What a better time to join in marriage than with the most important people around! An intimate summer wedding was just what they needed.
Entering the getting ready room, Jenna greeted Austin’s mom, Kristi, and her bridesmaids with hugs all around. Emotions were already high, and more came throughout the day. Austin, down the hall, got dressed with his best man and grandfather, Bob. He was so ready to see his bride. Jenna put on a gorgeous beaded gown, passed down to Jenna from her aunt’s wedding over twenty years ago. Jenna’s mom, Diana, helped Jenna with her veil, just as Diana’s mom did on her wedding day.
Austin stood at the front altar at First Baptist Church of St. Cloud, awaiting his bride. In the lobby, Jenna shared a final moment with her father, Bud, and tears were flowing. As Jenna entered the sanctuary, a tear (or multiple!!), escaped Austin’s eyes, simply in awe of her beauty. Vows were exchanged between the couple, as well as vows from Austin to his new daughter, Jasmine. The rest is history!
Jenna and Austin’s reception took place at the home of a long-time friend, Carol. The reception was set to take place outside in the vast backyard, but when the summer storms rolled in, Carol went above and beyond for the couple. She moved the entire wedding reception inside her house before any guests arrived. During the toasts, Jenna and Austin thanked each and every person who helped make their day so special, especially Carol.
Diana played a huge role in their wedding, and Jenna And Austin couldn’t be more thankful. She took all of their stress away from the wedding day. Diana created all of the ceremony and reception decor, provided food, and helped wherever she could to make their day truly amazing. The day would not have been possible without her!
As Jenna and Austin were creating their guest list, they added the people who truly meant the most to them and cared deeply for the couple. The list grew to almost two hundred people. They couldn’t believe that they had so many amazing people in their lives. Jenna didn’t care how their day went, as long as they had the people they loved around them.
The couple danced the night away with laughter and a care-free attitude. They couldn’t have had a more perfect day surrounded by the greatest people.
Jenna, you and your family have been a part of my life for so long. We’ve all waited for your prince to come along, and I truly believe you have found him in Austin. Marriage is hard, but motherhood is harder. Watching you raise Jasmine and care for her showed me just how amazing of a woman you are. I am so happy you have Austin to join you on this journey and I can’t wait to see where your new family goes next. Austin, welcome to the family. They are a crazy bunch, but I love them with all of my heart and I know you do too. I was so honored to be asked to be a part of your most special day and can’t thank you enough for having us.
