Hey hey everyone! I hope you all had a WONDERFUL holiday season, even though it looked a little different this year. In the spirit of the holidays, today I am sharing with you another of my holiday sessions from this month. The Scabarozi family is back for the second time this year with such a sweet and fun holiday session at one of my new favorite locations, Long Branch Park! This family truly makes me LOVE being an Orlando family photographer.
You may recognize this family from the blog because they have been with me for almost two years! The Scabarozi family came into my life in January of 2019 when Laura and Jeff hosted the most unique baby shower I’ve ever seen at a local airplane hanger! Soon after, their sweet Lilly was born and I have had the absolute privilege of watching her grow. The Scabarozi’s actually had my last session before the world shut down in March to celebrate Lilly’s first birthday with the most adorable unicorn theme! This family has been such a huge support over the past two years, so when Laura reached out to me with a conundrum during the holiday season, I was totally on board.
Laura texted me early last week letting me know that they were supposed to attend a wedding that weekend, but COVID changed the plans. They had these gorgeous outfits that they purchased for the wedding, and didn’t want them to go to waste. She asked if I had any chance of an opening for holiday photos, and of course I was going to get them in one way or another! We made plans to meet at Long Branch Park, a place I discovered while texting back and forth. I’d never been there before, but oh my gosh was it worth it!!!
When we arrived at Long Branch Park, I’m not going to lie, I was a little freaked out. You have to drive down this super long road and there was really no traffic at all out there. I think we saw one other car drive by! The location, though, was absolutely stunning. The trees made a beautiful canopy over the road. Inside the park, the sun peeked through the tall trees, making a gorgeous secluded forest for us to play in.
The last time I saw Lilly, she was just turning one and was still a bit shy. She really wasn’t walking a whole lot. But just a few months later, Lilly is a huge mover now! This age is always so fun to photograph, because you never know just what they’ll do! She played games with her parents like “Ring Around the Rosie” and she had such a fun time running through the paths. At the end of our session, Laura and Jeff got to have a little fun. When we were heading out to the car, Laura stopped to get some twirling photos in her dress. The lighting was absolutely perfect, so Jeff jumped in and created the most gorgeous husband and wife portraits!
I am so in love with this session and these photos. The moments are just so genuine and the setting was perfect. Plus, with an amazing family like the Scabarozis, nothing can go wrong! Laura and Jeff, thank you SO much for your constant support and trust over the past two years. I cannot wait for our next session! Take a peek into their holiday session at Long Branch Park below and leave them some love!
