Luscious greenery. Clear blue water trickling in a fountain. The smell of fresh flowers. A winding brick walkway. Another hidden gem of Downtown Orlando. That is The Courtyard at Lake Lucerne. Tucked behind the 408 off-ramp is one of the most gorgeous wedding venues I have ever been to. Brittany and I had the absolute honor of photographing the most down-to-earth and genuinely kind couple as they tied the knot.
David and Denise met online. Denise saw David’s profile and thought his photos were weird, but “winked” at him anyway. They went on their date and talked about everything, from travel to politics. Their date ended with the “worst first kiss ever” (as Denise put it) and she asked for a redo. They started dating and traveling together. When they visited Phoenix, Denise had her first first-class plane trip and she was hooked! After 6 months of corny jokes and loving each other, David popped the question in Paris.
During every toast I heard during their wedding, each friend or loved one described Denise and David as the most caring and genuine people. I could not agree more. Denise and David thanked all of their friends at the end of the toasts and were not expecting so many of their loved ones on their special day. Their love for their friends and family was so honest and pure. They even made Brittany and I feel like a part of their family.
Denise and David had so many gorgeous details for their special day. From the glam in the getting ready room to the intricate flower placement around the venue, every detail was spectacular. It was a photographer’s dream! Thank you to all of the wonderful vendor’s whose amazing work went into this special day, and to The Courtyard at Lake Lucerne for hosting the wedding!
