“We are not crying today!” Paige said to her mom as they were putting on her wedding dress at Quinn Strong Park.
Paige and her mom, Traci broke the rule just a few seconds later. In fact, the happy tears flowed from getting ready and straight through into the reception. Paige and Mike had a crowd of beautiful people who couldn’t contain their joy and had to let it out through tears. For all the happy tears, though, there was double the laughter. This was especially true when the girls needed to air out (those dresses sure are layered)! The energy of this wedding was off the charts, and it was contagiously joyful.
Quinn Strong Park was beautifully decorated in a DIY style for the day. This included a wooden palette announcing the wedding, lanterns lining the sidewalk to the chairs, and an archway to welcome the bride and groom. Paige’s Aunt Tawnia set up the entire ceremony and reception, with some help from the bridesmaids and family. Paige and Mike are huge Ohio State fans, and incorporated their colors in to the wedding day. With a variety of reds and greys, there was no doubt to their second love! They even chose their wedding date around the game schedule!
Paige and Mike, your wedding at Quinn Strong Park was simply amazing. The two of you set a tone that allowed everyone to sit back, chill out, and just have the time of their lives. Everyone was truly happy to be there and so in love with your love. I know your marriage will contain that same love and happiness. Thank you for inviting Jack and I to celebrate with you and your amazing families and friends. We truly felt like a part of your crew and we laughing (and secretly crying) along with everyone.
