William was a Lebanese immigrant who worked selling upscale linens from his home country off West Fourth Street. They expanded to sell children’s clothing in 1949, and soon after, William’s daughter began to take over the family business. The shop was moved to Reynolda Village in 1979, where it’s remained ever since.
